Contact

One address, read by the person who builds the site: [email protected]

There is no contact form on purpose. A form needs a server to receive it, and this site does not have one — that is the same reason your files never leave your device. Email keeps the promise intact.

If a tool broke on a real file

This is the most useful thing you can send, and the hardest to act on without detail. What helps: which tool, which browser and version, roughly how large the file was and what type, and what happened instead of what you expected — a frozen progress bar, an error message, or output that was silently wrong.

Do not attach the file itself. If it were the kind of document you would email to a stranger, you probably would not have needed a tool that keeps it on your device. A description of it is nearly always enough, and if it genuinely is not, we can work out something better once the problem is understood.

Corrections

Tool pages carry technical specifics — codec limits, file-format behaviour, document specifications, legal conventions that differ by country. If one of them is wrong, saying so is a favour, not a complaint. Point at the sentence and, where you can, at a source; anything quoting a standard or a government page gets fixed fastest, because it can be checked.

Privacy requests

The site holds no accounts and stores no files, so there is usually nothing to erase. Analytics only run if you accepted them, and you can withdraw that at any time with the Cookies link in the footer, which reopens the consent bar. If you would like something confirmed in writing, or want to know exactly what is collected, ask — the privacy policy is the short version.

Response times

Whichly is run by one person alongside other work, so a reply may take a few days. Bug reports that include the detail above are answered first, because they can be acted on immediately. Requests to buy links, publish guest posts or place sponsored content are not answered.
